Registered Manager Children's Home Cardiff CF11 As a Registered Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing our care teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and support to our children and young people at our lovely home in Cardiff. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our care homes and services, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation. With a focus on working in an environment that promotes exceptional outcomes for children and young people, with a learning disability and/or neuro-difficulties. We also work using a trauma-based approach, quality, safety, and person-centred care, you will work closely with our staff to create a supportive and positive environment for our children and young people. Registered Manager Benefits Salary £47 to £55k negotiable plus up to 20% bonus. We’re keen to reward our managers when they get things right because doing well is important to us. Registered Manager Skills and abilities Ability to demonstrate reasoning, numeracy, literacy and technology skills to required standard. Ability to work as a team, working closely with colleagues and other agencies. Ability to solve problems. Able to work within the principles of the Children’s Act. Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Child Protection Issues and Procedures. Sound knowledge of Children’s Homes procedures and relevant issues. Ability to exercise authority. Proven leadership and management abilities. Excellent communication skills - both verbally and written. Registered Manager knowledge and experience. At least 2 year working experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a Registered Children’s Home where the rating of their home is good to outstanding A minimum of two years’ experience at senior level in a Children’s Home. Experience working with Children who have learning disability and/or neuro-difficulties.
