Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join the team at our Brighton-based nursery. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in the nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver a curriculum that is engaging, stimulating, and age-appropriate for children in the nursery.
2. Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed by staff members in the nursery.
3. Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring that they are kept informed about their child’s progress and development.
4. Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development, ensuring that these records are up-to-date and accessible to parents and carers.
Requirements:
5. Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
6. At least 2 years of experience working in a nursery setting.
7. Excellentmunication skills, both verbal and written.
8. A passion for working with children and providing high-quality care and education.
9. All applicants will be required toplete an enhanced DBS check.
Your new role
Your new role will be working as a Nursery Practitioner. The nursery is looking for qualified staff that would like to build their expertise, career and grow within the nursery. You will be assisting with the day to day running of the classes, supporting the students and using your initiative to help them succeed. The nursery are recruiting for full time roles, but will consider part time applications also. The full time hours are 40hours a week working between 7am and 7pm.
