Job Title: Airport Asset Management Director
We are seeking an experienced Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee the smooth operation and maintenance of Bournemouth Airport. The successful candidate will lead a team to deliver minor works, capital projects, and asset management activities while maintaining high operational standards.
About You:
* You have a proven track record in facilities management, construction, or engineering, preferably in an airport or similar environment.
* You possess a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering principles, as well as knowledge of airport systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee minor works and capital projects, ensuring timely, budget-friendly delivery to the highest quality standard.
* Manage preventative maintenance programs for airport buildings, systems, car parks, roads, and surrounding areas.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
* Lead initiatives to enhance energy efficiency and support sustainability goals across airport facilities.
* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of in-house maintenance staff, providing training and performance reviews.
* Provide regular reports to senior management on capital project progress, asset performance, energy consumption, and maintenance activities.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave entitlement.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications in facilities management, engineering, or a related field (e.g., HNC, HND, or equivalent).
* Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, manage contractors, and deliver high standards of customer service.
* Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
