Contract: Permanent Closing date: Friday 9th May Recruitment Partner: Shannon Linton An exciting opportunity to be a Senior Independent Prescriber for the Boots Digital Health Clinical team. You will line manage a team of non-medical clinicians to help foster a culture of clinical excellence and support. About the role You will be a Senior IP within the Boots Digital Health Clinical Team reporting to the Head of Non-Medical Clinicians. You will be line manager for up to 10 non-medical clinicians. Your duties will include: ● Developing a personal development plan and educational opportunities for the non-medical clinical team. ● To continue building and supporting our clinically excellent and happy team of clinicians. ● To develop and run a system to assure clinical competencies ● To monitor non-medical clinicians clinical work using audit, review and reflective practice. ● To propose, implement and audit policies and guidelines in line with national guidance and regulatory requirements. ● To report, analyse, identify and help manage prescribing risks and working collaboratively with the SEA team to review clinician SEAs. ● To participate in the induction, education and training of all new healthcare staff. ● To act as an advisor for clinical queries, or to understand how to access additional clinical information when needed. ● To delegate tasks to other team staff as appropriate.
