Electrical Supervisor - Growing Division in Scarborough Area

Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee all day-to-day duties of a small team of electricians/installers.
2. Work collaboratively with the production team to install, self-check, and test electrical equipment, containment, and cabling, ensuring all installations meet clients' standards and timelines.
3. Ensure compliance with current safety and employment legislation, including conducting safety audits and leading Department Safety Group meetings to promote safe working practices across all operations.
4. Develop and promote a culture of quality, ensuring all work meets established quality procedures, ISO 9001 processes, and technical specifications, while staying up to date with 18th Edition & electrical testing requirements.
5. Manage resources effectively to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
6. Proactively problem-solve and take initiative in identifying and addressing any issues that may impact the safety, quality, or efficiency of installations.
What We're Looking For:
1. Proven experience in electrical installation, ideally in a commercial or industrial setting.
2. Must hold an 18th Edition Electrical Qualification (or 17th Edition Installation Certificate) or be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations.
3. Previous supervisory experience of leading a small team or ready to take the next step.
4. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends, when required to meet project deadlines.
