About the Role
We have openings at both Maghaberry & Newry for a Warehouse / Yard Operative; the purpose of this role is to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled whilst operating in a fast-paced environment. This will be done whilst adhering to company Health & Safety standards.
Main tasks could include but are not limited to:
1. Pick computer generated orders.
2. Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification numbers.
3. Transferring stock onto trailers, off trailers and to its location using side loader trucks, cranes and forklifts.
4. Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
5. Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
6. Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements.
Essential Skills for the role:
1. The successful candidate will have experience as a warehouse/yard operative.
2. Fork-Lift, overhead crane and Side-loader is desirable but not essential.
3. Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
4. Health & Safety awareness.
5. Driving Licence preferred.
