Robert Half Cambridge are working with a practice based in St Ives who are seeking an Tax Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for corporate and income taxes for a portfolio of clients and will be their main point of contact.
This role is paying a salary of £70,000 - £85,000, depending on experience. The role offers hybrid working after probation period however a presence in the office is preferable.
Responsibilities:
1. Reviewing of Corporation tax computations
2. Preparation of partnership, trust and personal tax returns
3. Assisting with the development of trainees, including reviewing their work and providing feedback
4. Liaising directly with clients to clear queries
5. Liaising with third parties such as HMRC
6. Adhering to internal and statutory deadlines
7. Assisting with tax planning strategies
8. Research & Development claims
9. Advice in relation to Share based schemes
Skills and qualifications:
10. CTA qualified or qualified by experience to a similar level
11. Experience in practice
12. Experience managing a portfolio and being first point of contact for your clients
13. Experience of CCH software package preferred but not required
14. Able to manage your own workload effectively and efficiently
15. Good communication skills.
