This role offers the opportunity to lead employee relations processes and build a high-performing HR function in a values-driven organisation.
What you’ll be doing
As HR Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our employee relations work while overseeing other key HR functions. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading on complex employee relations cases, providing expert advice and solutions.
2. Ensuring consistency, compliance, and fairness in all employee relation processes.
3. Supporting managers and employees with best practices, legislation, and company policies.
4. Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives to support a high-performing team.
5. Collaborating with the Director of People to align HR strategies with organisational goals.
6. Championing leadership development and succession planning across the organisation.
7. Driving initiatives that promote employee wellbeing, engagement, and inclusion.
What you bring to the table
We’re looking for someone with:
1. A strong background in employee relations and HR generalist expertise.
2. Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases and delivering fair, consistent outcomes.
3. CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent qualification) and up-to-date knowledge of employment law.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others.
5. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
6. Experience in the health and social care sector (desirable but not essential).
