Description
EVENT DAY RATE: Competitive event day-rates, dependent on experience and event day role.
TERMS: Non-guaranteed hours on an event by event basis.
London Stadium is looking for dedicated and experienced Crowd Safety Managers to join the event day safety team to assist in delivering world-class events and experiences for guests. London Stadium is a multi-purpose venue that is the home of West Ham United Football Club and is also equipped to host concerts, Rugby Union and League, as well as top-class athletics and other events.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will work with the London Stadium Safety Officer and the event day Crowd Safety Team to deliver safe and enjoyable events in accordance with the Spectator Safety Policy, relevant legislation, and the venue safety certificate. As a member of the team, you will play a key part in enhancing the customer experience for our guests while providing guidance and leadership to the team you will be overseeing.
You must hold a Level 3 in Spectator Safety or above, as well as a SIA Door Supervisor Licence. You should have experience leading large teams in a similar venue, a demonstrable history of mentoring and developing supervisors, and writing detailed post-event reports. You should possess strong communication skills, a passion for excellence, a friendly and approachable manner, and a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
How to apply
All applicants must be over 18 years of age. Successful candidates must commit to working 80% of the events at London Stadium. We would ask you to commit to any additional training required, such as customer service and online event-specific inductions.
This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service record check if you do not hold a SIA licence.
