Job Summary
Coordinator II – Logistics and Trade Compliance is responsible to administer logistics and trade compliance function and its requirements to ensure highly efficient and effective cargo movement for Global Operations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
* Administers the company’s import/export compliance program. Works with the Logistics and Trade Compliance group to ensure controls are in place that comply with the company’s legal and regulatory obligations.
* Provides assistance with emergency shipments, customs questions, and missing supplier documents to avoid delays.
* Mobilizes and manages internal and external logistics resources to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries of required materials at the lowest total cost.
* Monitors worldwide import operations related to the UK, Europe, Norway, and Africa.
* Uses AI to effectively produce data sets required to satisfy RGR imports from UKCS.
* Seeks new ways to improve efficiency and streamline logistics processes.
* Provides responsive logistics services for emergency situations.
* Manages vendor relationships for logistics providers.
* Identifies inefficiencies and areas of growth within the current distribution network to continuously improve service balance.
* Manages and reduces logistics costs via freight rate benchmarks, freight consolidations, and process flow reviews.
* Maintains daily follow-up of Export & Import files to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of materials.
* Controls documents necessary for importation and exportation in various countries, interfacing with freight forwarders/carriers.
* Follows up on customs and tax exemption issues.
* Assists with special projects in budgeting logistic costs and clarifying procedures.
* Interfaces with forwarding agents, shipping agents, customs brokers, and carriers.
* Audits freight forwarders/customs agents regarding compliance with local regulations.
* Ensures customs rules and regulations are complied with by each supplier delivering equipment.
* Provides assistance for all equipment imported under Temporary Importation Status.
* Coordinates with Trade Compliance to ensure all equipment complies with customs and tax regulations.
* Attends Operations meetings for planning purposes.
* Monitors and executes On Hand Reports with aligned OSD recovery and KPI measurements.
* Attends Monthly Governance Meetings with Freight Forwarders.
* Expands knowledge and assistance on EUM Region for customs and compliance as required.
Qualifications / Experience
* Bachelor’s degree required.
* Minimum 3 years of logistics experience in oil and gas or freight forwarding essential.
* Experience using Microsoft Copilot preferred.

* Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Ability to manage multiple logistic projects simultaneously.
* Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to influence and resolve issues.
