Description
The Senior BI Analyst will sit in the Commercial BI team supporting easyJet’s reporting for nonticketed ancillary and subscription programmes. This includes services such as baggage, paid seats, bundled packages, third party services, easyJet PLUS and more. The role will be partnering with commercial leaders and external partners to identify and solve business issues with a commercial and analytical mindset, delivering actionable insights and strategic guidance.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Collecting and analysing data using strong statistical knowledge and technical skills, such as SQL and Microsoft Excel, to deliver actionable insights.
2. Acting as a subject matter expert to fulfil reporting needs and support stakeholders by designing and implementing tracking mechanisms for both new and existing products.
3. Capturing detailed performance metrics and translating them into clear recommendations.
4. Collaborating with internal and external partners on project-oriented initiatives to enhance data collection and analysis processes.
5. Identifying gaps in reporting and working with data teams to enable greater self-sufficiency for analysts and stakeholders.
6. Analysing purchasing behaviours related to ancillary products and services.
7. Supporting the BI Manager in partnering with ancillary, proposition, and innovation teams to drive informed decision-making and optimise the product portfolio.
8. Maintaining high standards of data quality, integrity, and documentation for auditing purposes.
What you’ll need to do the role:
We are seeking a highly analytical and numerically skilled individual with a strong academic background, ideally holding a 2:1 or higher in a degree with substantial mathematical content, including modules focused on statistical tools and analysis. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience as an analyst in a commercial environment and be adept at leveraging a wide range of tools and techniques to deliver insightful analysis, including proficiency in SQL, Excel, visualisation tools, and preferably Python. Combining a creative and proactive approach to problem-solving with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, you will have the ability to manage projects from concept to execution while effectively adapting to changing priorities. A solid understanding of reporting methodologies, including the identification of KPIs and test approaches, is essential for success in this role.

Location & Hours of Work:
This full-time role requires a flexible place of working of which 60% of a month spent in the Luton offices right next to the airport, 40% working from home.
