Working within the Wholesale Direct sales team, the Account Director will need to drive new revenue sales of Neos Networks connectivity products & bespoke network solutions. The role is primarily focussed on new Business Development via new logo acquisition across the Wholesale vertical, with particular emphasis on International Carriers and Global ISP’s. There is also an element of revenue growth from a number of existing accounts. Key tasks Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new logo Customers and from existing accounts. Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements Sales engagement to development specific target markets and product propositions To contribute towards the development of sales campaigns Provide a summary of new product, network enhancements, and commercial improvements required to optimise sales to your customers What do I need? Previous experience within Telecoms is essential for this role Proven experience of selling to Wholesale Customers and in particular connectivity solutions to International Carriers An excellent understanding of Wholesale connectivity products, including dark fibre, optical and ethernet services, managed internet access and cloud connect. A proven track record of selling to new logo Wholesale clients Strong analytical skills and the ability to shape commercial propositions to secure sales. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present sales propositions to all levels within target accounts The ability to work across the organisation to close new business orders and to meet sales targets Experience of using CRM to provide the business with accurate sales forecasts Personal Attributes Highly organised, disciplined, and professional with the ability to work accurately to demanding timeframes.
