The Systems and Content Development Manager plays a leading and mentoring role within the Brand team and sets the strategic direction of the OEB (own exclusive brand) content delivery systems. As a subject matter expert in content requirements and content delivery technology, the role champions best practice and innovation to deliver content efficiently and effectively to the Banner (B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama etc.) teams across Kingfisher.
What's the job?
* Ensure that the DAM platform evolves to meet the changing needs of the business.
* Partner with the Group Digital content and Product owners to get the best outcome for all of our systems and content.
* Act and deliver subject matter expertise (DAM, Content Management, Content Requirements and Vendor Acquisition) to peers and team members pro-actively.
* Lead the Content and System Development team to deliver the system and initiatives effectively.
* Lead the reporting and analysis of OEB content production and delivery.
What you'll bring
* Experience of working in a web content environment, handling the data used to power content delivery - preferably in retail.
* Experience managing and launching a DAM system within a global business.
* Proven experience of working in a digital, marketing or content strategy role.
* A great storyteller, extremely organised and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
