The Role: Marketing Manager
We’re on the hunt for a Marketing Manager who’s ready to take our brand to the next level. You’ll be the creative spark behind our marketing campaigns, helping us shout about our mission and grow our pack of loyal customers. A big part of this role is focused on customer retention, building customer loyalty, and fostering strong relationships to keep our dog-loving community coming back for more. What You’ll Do
1. Develop and execute marketing strategies to boost brand awareness and drive sales.
2. Create engaging content for social media, email campaigns, and our website that resonates with dog owners.
3. Design and implement customer retention campaigns to build loyalty and encourage repeat purchases.
4. Build strong relationships with our customers through personalised marketing efforts, loyalty programs, and community engagement.
5. Collaborate with our team to launch campaigns that make us stand out in the pet industry.
6. Analyse campaign performance and use data to optimise our marketing efforts, with a focus on retaining customers.
7. Build partnerships with pet stores, influencers, and other brands to expand our reach.
8. Be a key player in making Mersey Raw a household name for dog lovers everywhere.
What We’re Looking For
1. A creative, confident marketer who’s passionate about dogs and bold ideas.
2. Experience in marketing (ideally 4+ years), with a strong focus on customer retention and relationship-building.
3. E-commerce experience is ideal – you know how to drive loyalty and repeat sales in an online retail environment.
4. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves thinking outside the box.
5. A team player who’s reliable, enthusiastic, and ready to make things happen.
6. Bonus points if you’re a dog owner or have a soft spot for our four-legged friends!

The Details
1. Salary : Up to £40,000 per year + performance bonuses.
2. Hours : Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (typically 08:30–16:30, with some flexibility).
3. Location : Based at our vibrant Liverpool office. We prefer on-site work to keep the team buzzing, but there’s potential for occasional remote work.
4. Start Date : Ready to join our pack as soon as possible!
Your Typical Day
1. 08:00 : Arrive at our lively office, grab a coffee, and catch up with the team.
2. 09:00 : Brainstorm new campaign ideas to boost customer loyalty and retention.
3. 10:00 : Create a fun social media post featuring one of our happy dog customers.
4. 11:00 : Analyse the performance of last week’s loyalty email campaign and tweak the next one.
5. 12:30 : Lunch break – maybe swap dog pics with the team!
6. 13:00 : Meet with a potential pet store partner to get our products on their shelves.
7. 14:30 : Work on a bold new ad campaign to drive repeat purchases from our e-commerce store.
8. 16:00 : Wrap up by planning tomorrow’s customer engagement content.
9. 16:30 : Head home, knowing you’ve strengthened our bond with our dog-loving customers.
