Temporary Financial Controller – Flexible Full and Part-Time Options Hourly Rate: £35.90 - £41.03 (DOE) Join a leading company in the construction industry as a Temporary Financial Controller for a 4-month assignment. This is an exciting opportunity to support the transition as the current Financial Controller hands over responsibilities and to assist with the onboarding of the new Financial Controller. In this role, you'll manage key financial tasks such as preparing management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting a small finance team. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) requirements. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are highly desirable. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar financial controller role, ideally within the construction sector. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAGE 50 and other financial management software; advanced MS Excel skills. Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial compliance, VAT, and CIS regulations. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a finance team effectively. Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Attitude: Positive, proactive, and motivating, with a determined approach.
