To provide assistance within Bank Facilities Services team, maintaining a high-quality patient and customer-focused service within the Facilities areas. This includes delivering a high standard of cleanliness, infection prevention, and the provision of safe, nutritious food in line with food hygiene legislation. Additionally, awareness of associated health and safety issues and participation in planned mandatory and professional training is required.
Your primary base will be as per discussion at interview; however, multi-site work between sites may be required.

Facilities assistant
To provide assistance within Facilities Services Department services as and when required.
Job responsibilities
Facilities provides a wide range of non-clinical support services to patients, staff, and visitors. The services provided include Housekeeping, Linen Services, Catering, Retail, and Stores/Portering.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* An understanding of cleanliness and good hygiene practices
* Recognised catering, cleaning, or support services qualification
Experience
* Able to carry out instructions and duties as detailed in the job description
* Experience or working within a catering, cleaning, or portering environment
* Experience of working within a healthcare environment which may include: a catering, cleaning, or portering function
* Experience of working within a food safety management system (HACCP)
Skills
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills
* Ability to use own initiative to manage the requirements of the job
* Flexible in managing own time and work duties
* Ability to work alone and as part of a team
* A good understanding of customer service i.e., caring, kind, able to hold a conversation with others
* Frequent requirement for standing for long periods
Physical Requirements
* Has the physical ability to perform the full range of duties
Training
* Ability to undertake all mandatory training as required by the individual site
* Ability to undertake any necessary skills and competency training required by the post
Knowledge
