Job summary A unique and exciting role has arisen for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our specialist therapy team at Hobbs Rehabilitation, the largest independent provider of specialist neurological rehabilitation to adults in the south of England. We are looking to recruit someone who would like to work in neurological rehabilitation; working across the clinical pathway, including specialist assessment, treatment planning and complex discharge planning. This role would be at Laverstock Inpatient Rehab Unit at Laverstock Care Centre in Salisbury as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team. Supervision and training will be provided. We work with clients who have complex neurological conditions including Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injuries and Spinal Injuries. Main duties of the job The role will include assessment and treatment for a caseload of neurological patients with both physical and cognitive impairments. The role will be within a very supportive MDT working towards a range of rehabilitation goals, participating in family meetings, MDT meetings, and discharge planning.
