My client is a leading is a reputable building company that specialises in full-service design & build construction and interior fit-out works, including carpentry and joinery. They are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager that has a Carpentry & Joinery background to join their experienced team.
As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the full control and delivery of multiple carpentry/joinery packages to meet customer requirements (quality, cost, time, etc.) such that all health and safety, budget, quality, risk, programme, customer and business objectives are met in full. The majority of projects are in London only, and full travel will be expensed for site visits.
Main Accountabilities:
* Project manage the delivery of multiple carpentry/joinery packages from design responsibilities through to handover and completion.
* Oversee and ensure that any FIRAS contracts follow the correct installation and paperwork procedures.
* Manage site managers/supervisors, direct labour and subcontractors; monitor site management activities and provide direct assistance and support as necessary. Maintain contact details for labour resources pool. Advertised and vet labour, assist with tender labour rates
* Adopt, uphold and manage prescribed operation procedures.
