Sales Administrator
Our multinational engineering and manufacturing client is looking for an experience sales administrator to support their international sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Communication: Manage daily interactions with sales managers, service engineers, and customers via phone and email
* Request Analysis: Identify and respond to customer inquiries, clarifying product features and requirements
* Quotation Management: Prepare accurate quotations following discount policies, submit to customers, and support follow-up processes
* Order Processing: Handle purchase orders in ERP system, coordinate with dispatch/warehouse, and prepare shipping documentation
* Administrative Support: Process sales returns, collate technical materials, complete order risk assessments
* Continuous Improvement: Streamline operational practices and contribute to team success
Required Skills and Experience:
* Technical Sales Administration background, preferably in engineering products
* UK, Ireland and European shipping knowledge
* Proven customer service expertise
* ERP systems proficiency (Navision/SAP preferred)
* Ministry of Defence product experience beneficial
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Self-motivated with proactive, team-oriented approach
