As part of our Advice Quality Standard (AQS) registered service, you'll play a pivotal role in accepting, triaging and providing high-quality, independent information and advice to older people across Gwent.
You will provide a professional and high-quality customer focused first point of contact for callers to Age Cymru Gwent Information and Advice Team and walk-ins to our Head Office. Proficiency in offering generalist information and advice is key, and you will take responsibility for a small advice caseload whilst also, accepting all referrals into the service.
You will manage your work time effectively, have a passion for supporting older people and have the ability to be flexible in order to meet service needs, including of working anti-social hours when required.
The ability to drive and have access to of your own vehicle for work purposes is desirable for the role. You will also undergo an enhanced DBS check.
Pay above national living wage from April 2025.
