Role: Project Manager (R&D) - Clean Technology
Location: Sheffield (2-3 days can be remote)

My client is a clean energy technologies manufacturer, developer, and the largest producer of Hydrogen in the UK. Working in partnership with some of the world's largest green energy companies, they aim to provide renewable, zero-emission energy to all commercial markets.
Due to their continued growth, they now require a Project Manager to join their R&D team based out of Sheffield.
Position Overview:
Working within the R&D Projects Team, you will lead and coordinate various R&D projects for the client, from concept through to delivery, and assist with the transition of our latest products to business as usual. A 'can-do' attitude will be key in motivating and utilizing the impressive skillset of our growing R&D Engineering Team, whilst also liaising with various departments, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met and delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate key R&D projects
2. Assist in the development of project scopes, objectives, and documentation involving all relevant internal and external stakeholders
3. Prioritize and set tasks to the R&D Team (electrical, mechanical, and control engineers and manufacturing)
4. Ensure the projects are compliant with legislation, guidance, and best practice
5. Maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders and teams across the business
Preference will be for the Project Manager to report to the Sheffield office, with the ability to travel to our other site locations, if required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
1. Previous project management experience
2. Great people management skills
3. High attention to detail
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to summarize complex issues effectively to people at all levels in the organization
5. Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with the ability to work with limited guidance or supervision
6. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to and organize changing priorities
7. Ability to learn about new technologies and adapt with development
8. A positive attitude to lead and drive the team forward
9. Proficient with Microsoft Office packages, including MS Project
10. Full driving licence
11. Desirable: a relevant degree qualification in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths (STEM) discipline or a business management subject
