Herts Wheels Ltd offers alloy wheel refurbishment and diamond cutting services to trade and retail customers.
The work will include mainly tire fitting, taking wheels on and off cars, and at times prepping, powder coating, and diamond cutting wheels.
We would want the candidate to have ideally some tire fitting experience. It will be more beneficial if you have worked in a powder coating company or an alloy wheel refurbishment company or have some experience working on cars. We can offer full training for the right individual if no previous experience is available. Previous experience refurbishing alloy wheels would be an advantage.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tire Technician to join our team. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for performing tire-related services and assisting customers with their tire needs. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Mounting, balancing, and installing tires on vehicles
- Performing tire repairs and replacements
- Conducting tire rotations and alignments
- Inspecting tires for wear and damage
- Assisting customers with tire selection and providing recommendations
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Using power tools and hand tools to complete tasks
- Providing exceptional customer service and addressing customer inquiries
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with power tools and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time
