Curriculum Development Manager – English and Maths Ref: 91478 Salary: £40,837 - £43,321 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week Location : Working across the Group – Wakefield, Castleford, Selby College A fantastic opportunity has arisen to lead a dedicated team as a Curriculum Development Manager in English & Maths, where you will provide outstanding support to ensure that all our learners succeed and achieve their highest potential. This is an exciting and growing area within the College, which has seen huge growth in student numbers over the last 3 years. This is a great opportunity for someone who has good leadership skills and is keen to help develop our English and Maths area further. As a Curriculum Development Manager, you will assist the Head of Department in managing and developing the curriculum, including the management of staff and resources in the area. You will improve outcomes for students by achieving and maintaining high standards of performance through tracking and monitoring students and inspiring staff and students. In addition, you should be an excellent team player and have a passion for supporting students to succeed. As a Curriculum Development Manager, you should have: -GCSE A-C/9-4 in English and Maths -Relevant degree or professional qualification of an equivalent level -Successful experience of teaching within the English and/or Maths curriculum -Track record of improving the learner experience We are aiming for the start date for this role to be in July/August 2025, however this can begin sooner depending on your preference.
