Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager This is a great job for an established investment professional looking to develop their portfolio management skills in a growing business. A bit about the job: Aviva Investors Multi-Asset is a fast-growing investment area with key strategies designed for financial advisers in the UK and Ireland, as well as corporate pensions. Our customers take confidence from having experienced professionals looking after their money, so to support our growth we are looking to add to the Portfolio Management team. The team is responsible for actively managing the allocations of c.£100bn in assets under management. This individual will be responsible for their contribution to team investment performance as well as management of individual portfolios, and for delivering key messages to clients and advisers. Skills and experience we're looking for: Significant experience in investment management and/or research, including cross-asset investing and experience of manager evaluation/oversight. Experience of private markets allocation and/or direct portfolio management responsibility are desirable Ability to communicate performance and positioning to a diverse range of clients. Experience with financial advisers is desirable Quantitative literacy allowing engagement with current portfolio construction techniques (strategic/tactical) and quant research tools, understanding the output and proposing enhancements. Developer skills, especially Python, are desirable Ability to engage with thematic research on macro-economics and cross-asset strategy, specifically applying the output to deliver investment performance. This means that we'll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we'll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain 'fit and proper' and competent to carry out your role. We'll provide training on what holding a SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.
