We wish to appoint a well-organised Finance Assistant to support the University's Payments Team who has the responsibility for promptly and accurately processing supplier invoices from 4,000 suppliers, and expense claims from 3,000 staff each year Your primary role will involve registering and processing invoices for a defined portfolio of suppliers processing staff expenses claims ensuring processes are fully compliant with current University Financial Regulations ensuring payments are passed for approval in a timely manner to achieve regular deadlines You should have a good standard of general education, an eye for detail and sound IT skills. You will need to be well-organised be a confident communicator be tactful in dealing with people enjoy working as part of a supportive team to meet common goals. Previous experience of working in an Accounts Payable environment would be a distinct advantage. Further information This is a part-time role working 29.2 hours per week (0.8 fte).
