Position: Human Resources Manager
Location: Veryan, Near Truro
Full-time: Monday to Friday
Permanent Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per year, plus gratuities and non-contractual bonus
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with employment laws and regulations whilst maintaining the Hotel Brand in a traditional, unassuming, and appropriate manner.
2. The Hotel Brand to be understood, projected, supported, and implemented throughout all operations.
3. Manage the recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and making hiring decisions.
4. Coordinate employee onboarding and oversee performance management processes, providing guidance and support to managers and team members.
5. Resolve employee relations issues and mediate conflicts, promoting a fair and respectful work environment with support of external HR service provider.
6. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge - approx 100 employees.
7. Stay updated on HR trends and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance overall employee experience.
Requirements:
1. Diploma Level 2+ in Human Resources.
2. Proven experience as an HR professional, preferably in the hospitality industry.
3. Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Ability to prioritise tasks and handle confidential information with discretion.
6. Proficient in HR software and MS Office Suite.
