ROLE: Supply Techer or Teaching Assistant (PRIMARY) START: Immediate HOURS/DURATION: 8.30am - 15.30pm (Full School day) 1-5 days a week SCHOOL: Mainstream Primary Schools in Weymouth, Dorchester & Bridport WAYS OF WORKING: Day-to-day supply, short-term, Long-term and Maternity cover posts. PAY: Weekly, £84 - £140 DOE DUTIES: Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to Key stage 1 & 2 classes or Support the classroom and SEN individuals. Provide tailored support to SEN pupils, ensuring an inclusive and accessible learning environment. Work closely with fellow teachers and teaching assistants to implement individual learning plans and strategies. Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues to ensure effective support for students. The Ideal Candidate Will: Be a qualified teacher with a passion for working with children, particularly those with SEN OR experience supporting Primary aged pupils. Have experience teaching/supporting in Key Stage 1 & 2 Be proactive, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Demonstrate a strong understanding of differentiation and inclusive teaching practices. Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
