We are recruiting a full-time Nursery Assistant for a lovely Nursery in Leeds. There could be the option of securing a permanent contract for the right person. This will be working within their Nursery supporting the new cohort of children they have starting in November. Your job role as a Nursery Assistant would be general classroom assistant duties, 1:1 with children with suspected special educational needs and also small group work. Qualifications are not essential however, experience with Early Years children/Nursery within an educational setting is a must. Level 3 and Level 2 Qualified have a higher advantage. As a Nursery Assistant you will be required to have knowledge and experience with the following;
* Phonics
* Experience with children with additional needs such as; speech and language, autism, non-verbal etc
* To have experience in a UK nursery or school based setting
* Educational references dated within the last 2 years
