We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional for the position of CSW - Team Manager - CYPDS (Gr 9) within our Children's and Young People's Disability Service (CYPDS). An understanding of the unique needs of children and young people with disabilities, along with a proven record in management and service delivery, will be essential. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of social workers and support staff to deliver high-quality services to children and young people with disabilities.
Ensure safeguarding practices are upheld in line with statutory regulations and organizational policies.
Oversee the development, implementation, and review of care plans for children and young people.
Provide supervision, support, and training to team members to enhance their professional development and performance.
Foster collaborative relationships with families, partnerships, and stakeholders to promote the welfare of children and young people.
Monitor and report on team performance, ensuring effective resource management and delivery of services.
Drive service improvement initiatives by utilizing feedback and data to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
A relevant professional qualification in social work or equivalent, with strong knowledge of disability services
Proven management experience in a social care or related environment, with a track record of leading teams
Excellent understanding of legislation and best practices related to children and young people's services
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals
Ability to handle complex cases and make decisions in high-pressure situations
Knowledge of performance management frameworks and ability to evaluate service effectiveness
Commitment to continuous professional development and the ability to inspire and motivate team members.

Pay Per Day: £29.77
