About the Firm: We are seeking an experienced and commercially-minded Senior Conveyancer (Solicitor or Legal Executive) to join our growing team at Brewer Harding & Rowe Solicitors LLP. Based in the beautiful North Devon area, this is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment, where you’ll be able to manage your own caseload while receiving appropriate support.
About the Role - Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a busy caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity, both freehold and leasehold.
* Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring a high level of service and client satisfaction.
* Handle more complex conveyancing matters as required, including development work, shared ownerships, easements and other bespoke drafting.
* Maintain strong client relationships, fostering repeat business and ensuring a positive client experience throughout the process.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal processes.
* Work collaboratively with other members of the team, providing support when required, and assisting in the development of junior team members.
Qualifications: Ideally, you will have at least 3 years’ PQE working as a residential conveyancing fee earner in a busy environment.
Required Skills: You should be able to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organisational and time-management skills. You should have experience in a wide range of residential transactions and be willing to learn or have experience handling more complex conveyancing processes. A client-focused approach is essential, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs are met. Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities and adapt to the changing demands of the market. Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive approach to problem-solving.
