If you’re passionate about inspiring students to explore literature and improve their communication skills, this role is for you!\n\nKey Responsibilities of an English teacher:\n\nDeliver Engaging Lessons: Teach language, literature, and communication across Key Stages 3 and 4.\nPromote Proficiency: Help students master reading, writing, grammar, and speaking.\nEncourage Critical Thinking: Inspire students to analyse texts and express their ideas confidently.\nAssess Progress: Track student performance through assignments and feedback.\nFoster a Love for Reading: Introduce students to diverse literature and encourage a love for books.\nAdapt to Needs: Tailor lessons to support students with different abilities and learning styles.\nManage the Classroom: Create a positive and respectful classroom environment.\nCollaborate: Work with colleagues to improve and develop the curriculum.\nWhat We’re Looking for in an English Teacher candidate:\n\nQualifications: QTS or PGCE, with a degree in English, Education, or a related field.\nExperience: Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.\nCommunication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.\nFlexibility: Ability to meet the diverse needs of students.\nPassion: Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring young minds.\nTeam Player: Willingness to work with others to enhance the school community.\nDBS: Updated CV and enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one).\nWhat We Offer to an English Teacher:\n\nCompetitive pay rates based on your experience.\nA variety of teaching opportunities in different schools.\nSupport from a dedicated consultant throughout your placement.\nThe chance to work in schools that value quality teaching.\nSafeguarding Commitment\n\nThis role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
