You will gain experience in the valuation of a wide variety of both domestic and commercial properties for council tax and non-domestic rating purposes. We are particularly interested in hearing from recent graduates of RICS accredited courses. As a progressive employer, we offer the opportunity to work in this role as a “blended working” arrangement with home-working opportunities and occasional office-working as required. While the significant part of the role can and will be carried out remotely, candidates should be able to travel to and attend office locations in Fife as required. The Person We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with the drive to undertake this challenging but rewarding training opportunity. Educated to SCQF Level 9 which includes a degree or equivalent, preferably accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors for entry to the Assessment of professional Competency pathway. Ability to communicate verbally and engage in a professional manner with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external. Strong IT skills with a knowledge of Data Protection principles Ability to produce clear, concise and accurate documentation and reports Ability to work as part of a team as well as work on own Ability to deliver good information management Good verbal and written communication skills Strong accuracy and numeracy skills Ability to travel to various locations throughout Fife Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership / Basic Disclosure through Disclosure Scotland.
