Starting salary £22,547 (pro-rated based on hours and weeks worked) Term Time Role - 6 Month Contract

- Managing a clinical caseload of students, working in collaboration with teachers, class teams and the wider multi-disciplinary team.
- Supporting students' communication skills across the school and learning environment; delivering indirect and direct interventions, whether individually or in small groups.
- Assessing, monitoring and recording students' progress with respect to their development in all areas of speech, language and communication.
- Liaising with parents, families and carers, and advising on issues relating to the development of speech, language and other communication skills.
- Providing clinical supervision to more junior Speech and Language Therapy colleagues, Therapy Assistants and Therapy service volunteers as required.
- Contributing to the planning and delivery of training to colleagues across the whole school as required.
- Assisting in the process of monitoring, evaluating and recording pupil's progress.
- Providing assessment reports and intervention plans for individual pupils.
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy including current registration with RCSLT and the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working in a multidisciplinary manner with the ability to modify a range of therapy programmes and interventions.
- Experience of working in Special Educational and Clinical settings.
- Experience of working with young people and adults with complex needs including Autism ad ADHD.
- Experience of modifying therapy programmes and interventions to meet the need of individual young people.
- Full clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work related travel.
