Job Title: AV Engineer Location: Birmingham Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 Benefits: 25 days annual leave, bank holidays, birthday off, company van, fuel card, overtime, pension, tools, healthcare, life insurance Job Purpose Summary: To install, service and maintain high-end audio-visual systems for retail, leisure, and hospitality clients in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities: Working independently and as part of a small team to install and service audio-visual systems. Providing guidance and training to Junior Engineers. Acting as the main point of contact on site for client updates and queries. Maintaining communication with the operations team regarding progress or issues on site. Assembly of AV racks, ensuring all cabling is labelled and organised. Leading and training Junior Engineers as needed. Providing client training on how to use installed systems. Accurately completing project paperwork. Willingness to work away from home when required. Maintaining a safe and organised workspace. Adhering to health and safety policies. Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence Previous experience as an AV installation engineer or similar Strong knowledge of audio systems, ideally experienced in servicing 100v line audio systems Ability to work independently or as part of a team Willingness to work away from home on occasion Preferred: ECS, IPAF or PASMA certificates QSC or Dante certifications In Return: The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of between £27K - £35K per annum depending on experience, along with overtime rates of 1.5X. You'll also receive a generous holiday package of 25 days plus bank holidays, your birthday off, and the ability to buy and sell up to 5 days of annual leave. A Medicash healthcare scheme, along with death in service compensation of 3X your annual salary, will also be included in the package.
