Ensure accuracy, security, and compliance of data across the organisation by conducting audits, monitoring data processes, and supporting regulatory compliance. Maintain data integrity and reliability by implementing processes to monitor, assess, and improve data quality.
* Data Quality Management: Develop processes to monitor and improve data quality, identify and resolve data quality issues.
* Compliance, Regulatory and Partner Alignment: Ensure data management practices align with external partners and comply with regulatory requirements, including GDPR and SOX.
* Data Risk Management: Identify and assess data-related risks, implement risk mitigation strategies, and develop data footprint maps.
* Data Governance: Support the implementation and improvement of the data governance framework.
* Audit and Reporting: Conduct internal data audits, prepare reports on data quality and compliance status.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with technology, legal, data, compliance, and business teams to ensure data-related processes align.
* Data Security and Privacy: Implement data privacy best practices and secure sensitive data in line with legal and regulatory standards.
* Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and optimise data management processes, tools, and controls.
* Essential Skills and Knowledge: Degree in Data Management, Information Technology, or related field, experience in data quality assurance and governance, regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR, FCA regulations).
* Technical Skills: Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, familiarity with data quality tools, proficiency in data analysis using Excel, SQL, or Python.
* Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to build relationships with stakeholders, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
