If you have a strong background in Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies, including Intune, Microsoft 365, and Azure-based services, this could be the perfect role for you The Role: As a Workplace Engineer, youll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting cutting-edge workplace solutions. Youll work with a variety of clients, ensuring their IT environments are secure, modern, and efficient. This hybrid role is based in Belfast and may involve occasional travel to customer sites. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage Microsoft infrastructure solutions, including Intune, Autopilot, and Endpoint Manager. Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure using Azure, including Virtual Machines, Networking, and Identity Services. Implement identity and access management solutions with Azure AD, Conditional Access, and MFA. Ensure compliance and security across managed devices and cloud environments. Collaborate with customers to define and implement infrastructure strategies. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance. Automate infrastructure processes using PowerShell scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies. Work with third-party vendors to integrate and maintain additional infrastructure solutions. Support IT transformation projects, including migrations to Microsoft cloud platforms. What Were Looking For: Proven experience in Microsoft infrastructure engineering within cloud and hybrid environments. Expertise in Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager, including Windows Autopilot. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive). Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure services (VMs, Networking, Identity Management). Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy. Experience in mobile device and application management (MDM & MAM). Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills. Desirable Qualifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or similar. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate. Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or higher certifications. Experience with Microsoft Defender and Security & Compliance solutions.
