You will work alone to provide security and site surveillance during hours in which our office is closed. You will be based at our main site in Chilmark, Wiltshire but hold responsibility for our secondary location based 5 miles away. The shift patterns will be 4 days on, 4 days off with a total of 42 hours worked per week. Role Responsibilities Responding to first response alarm calls Alerting second response key holders if and when required Patrolling of the premise to ensure safety Keep an accurate record of any employees or visitors attending the site out of office Attend our secondary site when required Survey and utilise CCTV where relevant Be the main point of contact for site security during shift times Provide report of any activity to the in-house Security team Escalate any major activity to the relevant teams in a fast and agreed timeframe. Ensure any issues with the building itself are reported to the facilities manager, for example external lighting defects Enforce all safety and security related policies at all times Perform other duties when required About You Qualifications: SIA License would be advantageous but is not essential Skills: Essential Experience in a similar security role Ability to work alone and under own initiative A confident approach and the ability to handle confrontation when necessary. Confident with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) Strong attention to detail Desirable Experience of bring solely responsible for building security during a shift Personal Attributes: A valid UK driving license would be required due to the need to visit our secondary site as required Must be a British Citizen or have an existing right to work in the UK Ability to hold Security Clearance – 5 years residence in the UK Callen-Lenz is an equal opportunities employer, committed to building an inclusive working environment.
