Objective: Proactively identify, contract and manage new business sales opportunities for Linden Hall in the key managed segments (corporates, business groups, MICE, banqueting) Responsibilities: Sales Action Implementation: Under the direction of the General Manager, implement defined sales actions to proactively sell and promote primarily your hotel, but the groups portfolio, within a defined territory, including corporate direct and agency accounts. Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities and clients for respective region, resulting in new Meeting and Events, Banqueting, and Commercial Rooms bookings for the group. Sales Blitz Participation: Plan, prepare, and actively participate in monthly sales blitzes to maximize sales lead opportunities for the Hotels key segments. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Consistently achieve monthly KPIs, including: 10 appointments a week (video calls and F2F) Minimum 3 site visits a week 2 Familiarisation Trips a month Industry Representation: Identify and proactively represent Hotels at industry and local networking events to raise the hotel profile and develop new business sales leads. Account Data Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of MDH SFA corporate account data through timely and accurate account activity logging for all local accounts, enabling accurate performance reporting and analysis of business trends for MDH. Competitor Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive competitor knowledge within the local territory and target sales actions accordingly to grow market share. Client Expectations: Meet and exceed client expectations through high-quality sales service, qualification of needs, and professionally presenting solutions. Professional Promotion: Actively promote the Company in a professional manner, both internally and externally, ensuring all business opportunities are converted with the Hotels team. Sales Meetings: Participate in quarterly sales meetings and reviews as scheduled. Achievements & Targets: Achievement of aligned Hotels Sales Budget, key targets will be the managed segments Achievement of retention, growth, and new business targets. Achievement of sales KPIs. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in sales within the hospitality industry. Strong networking and business development skills. Ability to work proactively and independently within a defined territory. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Familiarity with sales and marketing software, particularly CRM systems.
