Primary Teaching Assistant - Full Time About the Role U-Edcate is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team for a Portsmouth Primary School. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Supporting the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Providing one-to-one and small group support to children requiring additional help with their learning. Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment that boosts children's self-esteem and confidence. Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure all children’s learning needs are met. About the School This role offers the chance to work across a variety of primary school settings, assisting teachers in delivering high-quality education to children aged 4-11 years. You will play a key role in supporting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. Key Requirements Relevant qualifications and experience in primary education. A passion for working with children and a dedication to providing high-quality education. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents. Salary £450-£475 per week (salary dependent on experience, qualifications, and training). Minimum Requirements A valid Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, or the willingness to undergo one, is required for this role. What We Offer Excellent daily rates paid weekly.
