The Vacancy We are looking for a Learning & Development (L&D) Partner to join our Talent Management Team based in Coventry. This role is a fixed term contract. The Learning & Development Partner [L&D Partner] is accountable for developing and implementing the Leadership Academy learning initiatives across the MTC. This is achieved through the design and delivery of effective learning tools, programmes and solutions which enable the achievement of our short- and medium-term plans and goals. As an L&D Partner you will: Create a framework for leadership and management training that aligns with business needs. Design, develop and facilitate a leadership programme for senior and high-potential talent in line with our strategic goals. Lead on the development and migration of our Performance management approach [Contribution and Impact] and other key tools to D365. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of our leadership and management initiatives. Person Specification We are looking for a candidate who can: Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience Hold a relevant bachelor’s degree or have 5 years proven experience in a R&D engineering environment. Proven track record in designing, implementing innovative and creative management and leadership programmes, delivering effective change to the business that underpin behavioural and cultural change. Dynamic problem-solving skills with the ability to implement effective solutions. Skilled in managing stakeholders at all levels, especially senior leaders, to drive results. A commercial mindset, demonstrating an ability to deliver programmes that meet business needs in line with the MTC strategy. A good understanding of learning theories and how these translate into learning solutions including the effective use of learning technologies. Confident, resilient, enthusiastic and an excellent team player Proficiency in computer usage, MS Office Suite, Learning Management Systems and a working knowledge of D365.
