We have an opportunity for a Global Development Manager to join our great Distibution Specialty Lines team on a hybrid basis. Your Role Your role is to support RSA's specialty Lines, developing large and complex opportunities from Strategic Brokers in the Specialty Lines market. The remit focuses on the UK and London markets but can extend internationally to support sales activity as required. Primarily you will be responsible for the development of sales plans, 3 year rolling pipelines and co-ordination of any tender submissions with selected strategic brokers. Working with the trading underwriters and Strategic Account Managers, you will seek to generate high quality enquiries and will support the retention of existing profitable business. You will develop and manage the performance of the pipeline and retention plans and significantly influence the activities of the trading underwriting and wider Specialty teams. You will form productive relationships with brokers and collaborate with stakeholders across RSA who have roles to play in customer propositions. About You To be successful in your role you will need to be experienced at deploying sales and distribution techniques and tools and demonstrating the Brand values. Exploiting your skills, knowledge and experience you will develop and deliver presentations and proposals to brokers and customers. Your experience will need to be within 1 of the following areas: • Previous Senior Broker Relationship management experience maintaining relationships at Senior Executive Level • Senior Specialty Underwriting experience with a desire and passion to move into a Relationship Manager position What we offer you At RSA we put our people first.
