Fixed term contract for 6 months Sittingbourne, Farringdon, Croydon or Isle of Wight hybrid working Were looking for a Employee Relations Casework Manager join our People & Culture team on a 6 month fixed-term basishere at Southern Housing. Reporting to the Senior People Business Partner, you will provide support to managers and colleagues on all aspects of employee relation casework across your business area, including sometime complex, multifaceted matters. You will work closely with the Senior People Business Partners to ensure that we deliver an effective, consistent and collaborative HR service across the organisation. You will be based at one of our main offices in either Farringdon, Croydon, Isle of Wight, Maidstone or Sittingbourne, working a minimum of 2 days a week in the office and rest from home. You will also be expected to travel to various locations to support managers and colleagues. Key responsibilities will include: Providing professional, expert, best practice and legally compliant advice, coaching and support to cross functional line managers when dealing with all aspects of employee relations casework across your designated business area and in line with the organisations policies and procedures. Providing coaching, guidance and support to enable line managers to formulate pragmatic and business focused solutions which are balanced with policy application and employment legislation. To support the Head of People Business Partnering & ER and Senior People Business Partners in the preparation of tribunal cases including ET3 responses, ensuring documentation and information is provided within the required timeframe. Working closely with the People Partnering Administrator and oversee the management of sickness absence cases. What Youll Need: Experience of managing complex and multi-faceted employee relations matters Experience of effectively managing high volume caseload CIPD Level 5 or qualified by experience (CIPD Level 7 desirable) Experience preparing papers for Employment Tribunals Strong knowledge of all aspects relating to employee relations Please include specific examples demonstrating how you meet the criteria in your supporting statement Closing date for applications: Thursday 13 th February 2025 at 23.59pm About us At Southern Housing, our residents are at the heart of everything we do.
