Compensation Partner Cambridge T his role is to be based at our European Headquarters based in Cambridge, we would consider hybrid or remote working. The role The Compensation Partner will be a key member of the EMEA Compensation & Benefits team, developing and executing strategies to attract and retain top talent. Reporting to the Director, this role collaborates with global compensation, local HR, TA, and business leaders to ensure competitive programs aligned with business priorities. Additionally, the role contributes to the annual compensation project calendar, ensuring regional alignment with the COE calendar. Key Responsibilities: Business Partnering Primary Compensation Partner : Guide pay-related decisions for Global Compensation, local TA, and HR. Regional Lead : Drive strategic initiatives in global compensation projects. Education : Train managers on compensation philosophy, pay structures, and stock programs. Compensation Benchmarking & Pay Reviews Lead Benchmarking : Oversee EMEA compensation and benefits benchmarking. Salary Surveys : Manage annual salary survey reviews and submissions. Market Reviews : Conduct ad hoc market reviews with HRBPs and business leaders. Job Structure Projects : Handle job evaluations, new job family benchmarking, and organizational structure reviews. Tool Maintenance : Maintain and leverage the compensation benchmarking tool. Compensation Program & Annual Review Process Annual Cycle Preparation : Ensure EMEA alignment with global compensation strategies. Total Pay Review : Drive regional pay review processes. High-Inflation Reviews : Provide recommendations to maintain competitive positioning. Pay Equity & Regulatory Compliance Pay Equity Projects : Lead gender pay reviews in the UK, France, and Spain. Compliance : Manage EU Gender Pay Directive compliance and stay updated on regional pay legislation. New Entity Setup & M&A Compensation Setup : Lead compensation setup for new entities and handle M&A compensation aspects. Consultant Fee Arrangements & Compliance Fee Review : Manage annual fee reviews and consultant arrangements in emerging markets. Other Compensation Projects Initiatives : Manage shift and overtime policy reviews, CBA reviews, secondment policy recommendations, and workers’ council partnerships. Qualifications & Experience: Strong technical knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation, benchmarking, and market analysis. Related degree would be beneficial Experience managing complex compensation projects, including pay equity and regulatory compliance. Proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Strong communication and negotiation skills to influence senior stakeholders. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience with compensation in a global or regional capacity, particularly across EMEA, is highly desirable.
