The Role:
The Senior Comparison & PCW Project Manager will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of initiatives that drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and renewal across comparison brands and price comparison websites (PCWs).
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, Comparison, and International Delivery, this individual will work closely with key trading stakeholders across Staysure Group to turn commercial hypotheses into structured initiatives and a defined delivery roadmap.
This person will take ownership of delivering the Paying Too Much and AvantiGo brands, as well as managing key relationships with MoneySupermarket and other PCWs to maximise business growth.
The role requires deep expertise in the travel insurance and insurance markets, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to bridge the gap between commercial priorities and structured project delivery.
What will you do?
Strategic Delivery & Execution
* Lead the development and execution of a structured delivery roadmap for comparison brands and PCW partnerships.
* Work closely with commercial, trading, product, and marketing teams to translate business objectives into clear initiatives.
* Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle from idea, discovery, design, and delivery, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable commercial impact.
* Identify and drive optimisations to the Paying Too Much and AvantiGo brands, improving customer acquisition, conversion, and retention.
Price Comparison Website (PCW) Management
* Act as the primary point of contact for MoneySupermarket and other PCW partners, ensuring strong collaboration and performance optimisation.
* Develop and execute strategies to increase visibility, competitiveness, and conversion rates on PCW platforms.
* Work with data and analytics teams to track performance, identify trends, and implement improvements to maximise return on investment.
* Ensure PCW listings and journeys remain compliant with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management
* Partner with internal trading teams, marketing, product, and technology to ensure alignment of initiatives with broader business goals.
* Work closely with external PCW partners to collaborate on joint initiatives, product improvements, and performance enhancements.
* Provide regular reporting and insights to senior stakeholders on portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities.
* Manage multiple initiatives concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.
* Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers, ensuring initiatives progress effectively.
* Implement structured governance and reporting, ensuring all stakeholders have visibility of initiative progress and performance metrics.
* Leverage deep knowledge of the travel insurance and broader insurance markets to inform strategic decision-making.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and PCW developments, ensuring our comparison brands remain competitive.
* Work closely with pricing and product teams to optimise product offerings for PCW channels.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in the travel insurance and/or broader insurance market.
* Proven ability to translate commercial strategies into structured initiatives and execution roadmaps.
* Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of delivering initiatives that drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and renewal.
* Experience in managing cross-functional project delivery, working across commercial, trading, product, and marketing teams.
* Experience managing relationships with PCWs such as MoneySupermarket, with a deep understanding of optimisation strategies.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior business leaders and external partners.
* Data-driven mindset, with the ability to define success metrics, track performance, and iterate based on insights.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on execution excellence.
