What does this Care Assistant job involve?
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Looking after the physical, emotional, cultural, and social needs of residents using a person-centred approach.
• Observing and promoting residents’ choice, independence, dignity, privacy, fulfilment, and other rights.
• Creating and maintaining good professional relationships with residents, their families, and friends.
• Actively supporting other support workers.
• Adhering to all regulatory and statutory obligations, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Providing personal care and support to residents, encouraging their independence and motivation.
• Assisting with daily living activities (e.g., washing, dressing, eating) and preparing food according to preferences and nutritional needs.
• Performing light household duties (e.g., housework, laundry) as per care plans to ensure a safe living environment.

Hours of Work: 36 Hours Per Week - 07:30 - 19:30 / 19:30 - 07:30
We are looking for a kind, caring, compassionate and hardworking person to join our team as a Support Worker / Care Assistant.
We welcome any new starters into care as we will provide your training to become a qualified support worker. A QCF Level 2 or 3 isn't required but beneficial. We welcome applicants who can do days or nights or both.
