* Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions using art, music, or play therapy techniques to support students' emotional well-being.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create personalized care plans and interventions tailored to each student's needs.
* Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and track student progress in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall mental health strategy within the school.
* Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure a safe and confidential environment for all students.
Essential Requirements:
* A recognised degree in Psychotherapy, specializing in art, music, or play therapy.
* Accreditation with a relevant professional body (e.g., HCPC, BACP, UKCP) is required.
* Proven experience working with children and young people in a therapeutic setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families.
* A proactive, empathetic approach to addressing mental health concerns in young people.
