Location: WA7 Runcorn
Shift Options:
1. Day shift: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
2. Sleep-in shift: 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM (Sleep-in 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM)
3. Waking night shift: 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM
Role: Overnight support with a team of 3 people on shift at all times

Key Responsibilities:
Support the well-being of the individuals by recording and reporting progress, and implementing care plans.
Promote and engage in leisure activities both in-house and in the community.
Work towards the goals of the individuals we support and report any changes in needs.
Assist with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, washing, and managing laundry.
Support individuals with personal care tasks, including hair washing and menstrual cycle support.
Manage behaviors that challenge, including physical aggression and property damage.
Uphold daily tasks assigned by the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the home.
Mandatory Requirements:
Female applicants only
Must be 25 or older due to vehicle insurance requirements
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate manual vehicles
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an adult social care setting, ideally with experience supporting individuals with complex behaviors

Physical Intervention
Medication Administration
Experience managing behaviors that challenge, including physical aggression (e.g., hair pulling, throwing objects, shouting)
Experience with personal care, including supporting individuals with hygiene tasks
Proficient in using digital care planning systems (e.g., Access Care)
Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
Desired Skills:
Understanding of PACE/PERMA/Adverse Childhood Experiences
Awareness of attachment disorders and pathological demand avoidance
Interest in horses, arts, singing, or other creative hobbies is a plus

About the Individual:
The individual you’ll support is a female adult with a spikey autism profile. She struggles with waiting and requires clear boundaries and consistency in approach. She enjoys creative activities and has an interest in horses and arts. Staff will need to provide support with personal care tasks, including encouraging and role modeling hygiene routines.
