In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.

OUR IMPACT
REGULATORY MIDDLE OFFICE OPERATIONS
We are a globally located team that exists to ensure that the firm fulfills a wide range of non-financial regulatory reporting obligations. The Regulatory Middle Office Operations team is responsible for reporting to external stakeholders in the EMEA region, across a wide range of traded financial products and business lines. The team plays an integral role in ensuring that the Firm meets its non-financial regulatory reporting obligations. The Team consists of talented and highly motivated individuals who are extensively involved in the preparation of the mandated reports, as well as the implementation of effective control processes, efficiency initiatives, new compliance and industry change initiatives, BCP, and other department initiatives.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Responsibilities include the following:
1. Contribute to the execution of non-financial regulatory reporting obligations (eg. MiFID, EMIR SFTR etc.)
2. Reviewing business and functional specifications to determine potential impact to existing regulatory obligations
3. Analysis of front to back system infrastructure to understand data flows, booking models, and logic required to capture data
4. Work with Engineering teams to implement and test enhancements to regulatory reporting obligations
5. Play an instrumental role in implementation of large-scale initiatives across the Global team
6. Work with relevant stakeholders in Operations, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and the Business to support various reporting functions
7. Training and developing colleagues to understand complex workflows and processes
8. Proposing and driving forward new initiatives to enhance the objectives of the Regulatory reporting team
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3-4 years’ experience in financial services
2. Strong analytical skills with an ability to understand complex workflows paired with meticulous attention to detail
3. Must have strong communication skills to clearly articulate issues and ideas, and provide timely escalation
4. Good interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of Operations
5. Good influencing skills to work with the Operations team in challenging the status quo and continuously enhancing the control environment required
6. Self-motivated and proactive team player, who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities within deadlines
7. Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Basic understanding of financial markets and the regulatory landscape
2. Sound understanding of Risk - financial, operational, reputational, regulatory
3. Knowledge about financial markets and associated processes
4. Practical knowledge about financial products, e.g. equities, fixed income, exchange traded derivatives, OTC derivatives,
5. Knowledge about project management and business analysis
6. Shows interest in data analysis, process automation and BI tools
