Your new roleThe Group Financial Accountant role is an important cornerstone of the Group Financial Control team, providing a central hub of financial expertise while supporting the finance teams, ensuring robust controls and regulatory adherence. Specifically, you will work with finance teams to drive continuous control improvements and a 'best practice' control environment, as well as coordinate with finance teams to ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met on an accurate and timely basis. A key part of your remit will be the coordination and production of all Group Statutory Accounts, and you will work closely with the tax team to coordinate and review all tax matters within the Group, including Corporation Tax and VAT. As Group Financial Accountant, you will work with external and internal auditors to agree audit timetables and communicate to finance teams and provide audit support where necessary. Monthly reporting and financial compliance of Holding Company and dormant entities as well as providing accounting expertise and support to drive the successful integration of businesses and legal entity rationalisation programme will all form part of your role.This is a twelve-month fixed-term contract with an expected start date in September or early October 2024.What you'll need to succeedThe successful candidate will be a qu...
