Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and talented Senior Manager to join the new NIHR Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) in the South West Peninsula. The postholder will support the marketing of NIHR services to Industry and contribute to shaping new projects and services that meet the needs of Life Sciences customers. The postholder will proactively develop a profile across the RDN and work collaboratively with individuals and groups both internally and externally.
The postholder will be managed by the RRDN Strategic Development Director and will oversee the work and development of the Industry Manager. Together, they will support a culture of a unified network to deliver the life science strategy.
This role requires regional, national, and some international travel. We offer a hybrid working model.

The role offers the opportunity to lead regionally and nationally to deliver standardized study support services. You will develop and maintain high-quality relationships with regional settings, sponsors, and research organizations to support effective research delivery. The RDN and DHSC envision this role as a key conduit for commercial partners to explore pipelines, plan, and facilitate study delivery.
The Life Science Key Account Manager will work as part of a national team to develop and manage relationships with Life Sciences companies and stakeholders within the clinical research ecosystem to attract and grow research in the UK.
This role will collaborate with RDN industry teams to ensure service consistency and will use intelligence and NIHR expertise to provide tailored services to key accounts, promoting RDN services and exploring opportunities with external partners.
The contractual base can be Truro, Plymouth, Exeter, or Taunton, with regular regional travel and some national travel required.
